Its such a strange feeling because here in Australia we are currently BSB deprived, while boybands like A1 and Blue are dominating (i'm sure some of you don't even know who they are!) But anyways I am just here to say the I think that the new album should be named "7" because this new cd would make it 7 cd's that they have made as a group since they have been together. Oh and before I forget I was in a Backstreet chat and I said that I was a big fan of O-Town and they where telling me that i was'nt a BSB FAN A TRUE BSB FAN because BSB fans are like only allowed to like BSB or something I dont know and I realy dont care. Whatever they will release we will love it because of the Boys' talent and awesome voices. But they have to make a successful album as well and they want and we want them to win Grammys, they have to achieve incredible success like with Millennium to avoid getting dissed by horrible award show hosts. They will make awesome success with great songs WRITTEN by themselves, music PLAYED by themselves, an "ORGANIC" sound and professional concerts. Something big is coming, and it hasn't completely crossed your minds yet. Not all of you, but some of you. Now, you're probably thinking "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS IDIOT TALKING ABOUT!" Although it isn't written in stone yet, we are literally three to four (no more than five) months away from all-new Backstreet Boys material. An all-new album, with all-new tracks, an all-new tour, all-new merchandise, all-new everything! Guys, we are just a few short months away from the return the number one pop group around the world. Now for those of you feeling impatient about the "three, four or five month" thing... subtract one month from each of those numbers and thats how many months away that you are from listening to the first single from the new album! Whether it's coming out in August, September, October or whenever it is the boys feel ready to rock our ears with new stuff, the anticipation is definitely there! We all want it, we all need it and we all can't wait for it! Continue on reply.... As exciting as this is, there are some issues that we as fans are going to have 'get ready' for! This time around, the boys will be releasing an album while having a completely different identity. They are no longer the number one vocal group in North America (note: to me they'll always be number one, I'm just talking about album success, etc), they're not coming off they're most successful album release ever. AJ's getting married. Nick and AJ are going solo or have plans to. AJ's rehab and Nick's arrest have altered their image in the eyes of many. Things are completely different now. The next album could very well be the deciding factor in the future of Backstreet. An unsuccessful album will be a media joy ride as every major reporter and columnist out there will jump at the chance to crack a joke about the boys and let eveyone know how washed up the Backstreet Boys have supposedly become. People who go to any length to get a laugh, like Jamie Fox and other horrible award show hosts, will go crazy over their new punchline: backstreet boys. Late night tv hosts like Jay Leno will go hours and hours thinking of new material to make fun of the boys, ofcourse forgetting about the ratings the boys probably provided him with when they've been there in the past. To sum everything up, an unsuccessful album could spell disaster for the boys. The media is all over them already, a bad album would make that much much worse. The boys are going all-out for their next effort and they are doing it for us! They don't want to put 'crap' out there for us, they want to blow all the competition away! The boys are relying on us more than ever with this next release and we as fans need to deliver! Remember the incredible performance of 'Everybody' at the MTV awards a few years back? Remember the awards the boys used to win? None of those things will ever happen again if we don't seat the boys back in their pop thrones. For years, the boys have expressed their desire to take home their first ever Grammy Award. We can all make that possible! If the Backstreet Boys put out a truly amazing album, doesn't it make sense to go out and buy it? Forget KaZaA, Morpheus, WinMX and all of those programs when their new stuff comes out. Go out and buy the album that the boys put so much effort into for you. It's the least you can do! So fans, I once again remind you... Backstreet's coming back... are you ready?
