First off, the Backstreet Boys were here first, and deserve a lot more respect than what people give 'em. They interact more with fans, and do whatever they can to make us(the fans)happy, unlike boy band sensation 'N Sync, (believe me, I know). The Backstreet Boys have dedicated themselves to help other people who are less fortunate than they, and try to set themselves up as good role-models, which they already are. It's obvious that a lot of work goes into what they do. No matter what obstacles face them, they'll take whatever challenge to overcome that certain obstacle. If you want to know who I dislike like the most, asking is a waste of time, 'N Sync of course! Three years ago, I was a 'N Sync fan (as well as a Backstreet Boys fan). I'm going to now share with you some experiences I had with 'N Sync. After buying tickets to one of their past concerts, and witnessing it, I realized that buying those tickets were a waste of time... and money! I'm not lying, what I'm basing my story on is the truth, or at least my TRUE opinion. Obviously, they didn't prepare much for the concert I attended. Their singing was real bad, and to make it worse, all those screaming fans just made my ears bleed, (no, not literally). They go to whatever lengths to topple BSB, like advertising way too much for their new album "No Strings Attatched" it's no wonder why they beat the record set by BSB, right? I know, probably after writting this I'll be recieving loads of hate-mail from hard-core 'N Sync fans, but hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, including me. Anyway, all I'm saying is, not much sweat and blood went into that concert, it was really obvious! Oh yeah, y'all prob'ly know this, but just to make things even worse for 'N Sync... they're bad role-models. Maybe not all of them, but Joey "Fat-One"...(heh, heh), I mean Joey Fatone is into pornography, no folks, I'm not lying. I got this info from a reliable resource(and for evident reasons, I won't be telling you WHAT reliable resource). So, overall, all 'N Sync cares about is the money they make from vulnerable teeneyboopers, and nothin' else much. Those fans have my pity. I have loved them for almost 3 years now. They are a great group and i hope they will always be around. They as well as thier band have inspired me to be a musician when i get older. I have benn playing the violin for 3 years and recently took up the drums. After I get good enough at those instruments I also want to learn how to play the guitar and the keyboards. So if either the Boys or Tommy are reading this, I just want to say thanks. Another one of my favorite bands is Hanson. I love them because.... I don't know.. I just DO i guess... other than that I'll listen to pretty much anything. I still don't understand how fans buying more then 1 Cd could constitue using the term "cheating". That's pretty dumb. Besides how the hell do you know that is what really happend? I am so sure parents of the younger kids bought 3 CD's because you know everyone is so rich! That is your lame way of making yourselves feel better. We blew BSB's record out of the water and no matter what you say it will always be that way. So what they did a lot of promoting of this album? What's wrong with that? BSB are too good to do little appearances?--do they not care? They do what they do for themselves......not all of them because I genuinely believe that AJ and Howie are really decent guys who would do anything to make their fans happy. But as for the rest of them....i don't think so. They are to worried about their slut blonde fiancee, their whining about "people who can't do their own thing" and making their Jenni Craig meeting so they can tell everyone how wonderful it is to be them. I hope you know that by saying Nsync copies, that we fans "cheated", and that they do too many promos you are just showing the world what it means to be a BSB fan to its fullest--you are whining and you are closed minded. Like I said before I like BSB's music and I think AJ is the hottest mother*r alive (yes even hotter then any of the Nsync guys!) but I do prefer Nsync for the quality of what they do and how they do it. I also prefer them because as a group they are more fan friendly. They take their "boy-band" persona and have fun with it-they don't whine and moan that they are not a boy band-they have fun being who they are and they enjoy making their fans happy. Don't say that you wouldn't love BSB to make as many appearances as Nsync did on TV. You just like us Nsync fans are glued to your TV when they are on. I'm far from being a teeny bopper but even I record appearances I can't watch live. As for the idiot who thinks BiteMe Spears will break Nsync's record breaking album sales.....get a life she couldn't even break BSB's 1 million record. She is a has been with a fan base of 6-14 year old boys and girls. Any serious music lover knows that all she is is a good show-no more no less. True bubble gum pop diva.
