i think the article for a most part speaks the truth. i think for the most part it's ashame bsb had these managing issues but otherwise nothings changed. the only thing is "oh gosh nick leaving bsb!" i say thats bull sh*t. i think if nick kept his smarts about him he'd realize leaving bsb would be stupid and damaging to both his own career as well as bsb's. and i disagree with the article, each and every backstreet boy is irreplaceable. they all have different voices and nick has some major roles in some major songs and no one other than nick carter can sing and get the crowd pumped in the same way as nick carter can. but i doubt any of them will leave anytime soon. nick just needs to get his act together.

I think the whole article is complete crap. I saw it today in a newspaper and I was shocked that they printed it as if it were fact. BSB did not release a statement that they had broken up. They've already confirmed that the article was written by a prankster. So they have no right to print it as if they had talked to BSB themselves. True, BSB did set the path for copies such as N'Sync, but that was one of the only true things that they printed. I think that next time they print "facts" they should make sure they know what they're talking about. They've offended me and,I believe, Backstreet Boys fans all over the world.KTBSPA

It's almost kind of confusing. Black and Blue was very disappointing to me. It was very blah and not very adventerous. Also, the guys have been doing very little. No one knows what's going on with them. If, even at all, they are losing fans, it's because of a losing interest. They have been doing very little in the public eye. I know that they worked very hard to get to where they are. . .I understand that. Yes, Nick is going solo. Yes, the group is together. Well, that's about all that we really know. They need to do something BIG and EXPLOSIVE. (Not a bomb or anything, but, maybe, a musical bombshell to explode the music world.) I love these guys with all my heart, but I can't stand to listen to their music anymore. My CDs are actually gathering dust. C'mon guys, give us something, we're hungry.

This article made me very mad and very sad at the smae time. How could they say that the best musical group of our era lost thier fans because of a new sound. If that were true they would be flipping burgers at McDonalds rather than making another CD. Of course they have had their ups and downs before, but so has everyone else. Why should they be looked down upon and have a story written about them that is simply not true. That reporter had no right to say such things. I guess he or she does, but that is not fair for them to judge the guys like that. Instead of saying all those things about breaking up and how Nick's new CD is the end of BSB, they should be supporting them for their many achievements. They have donethings many musical groups have never done before. Since when are celebrities perfect? I know that it is assumed that they are supposed to be, but underneath all their fame and fortune, they are just like regular people. They have feelings and needs that they may not always be able to fulfill because of their profession. They shouldn't be judged because of AJ's rehab and Nick's new album. This events will only make them stronger as a group and all the hatred that is towards them will turn to love when the people who said such things realize how good they are. Granted no one is perfect, but why should they be expected to be? Everyone makes bad decisions and they all make mistakes, but those types of things make a person stronger. I hope that this person who wrote that story thinks twice before writing another article because the boys will be back again!

Buenas noches,Inma.

I think that the bsb will stay around for a long time and if they ever break-up we thier fans will be stuck with copy cats and wannabes like Nsync who will never live up to the BACKSTREET BOYS who paved the way for pop music And if you don't like my article TUFF GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm...what to say about that article? I don't see anything wrong with Nick wanting to do a solo project. He's been talking about it for a while now. People didn't say much when AJ went and did his "solo act". It was cool, so in turn, Nick's is too. No matter if he chooses to let the Firm manage or not, it's his decision. He knows what's best for him, and what he wants. If this is what he wants, then more power to him and I stand behind him all the way. He is a talented man, and deserves the respect for his own choices and decisions. Not everyone in the industry lets other ppl run their lives 24/7...not saying that the other guys do or anything. Gee, please don't think that, b/c I would NEVER say that about any of the guys. They are are wonderful, and equally talented. They should all venture out and do their own thang, for a while. Not saying that it has to be perma b/c it doesn't. But, they are all so talented. In anything they do, I wish them ALL the best of luck in life. Good luck!

I hope we all can do exactly that-"Ignore the media-not the guys!" I know I can and I will. The Backstreet Boys are such strong willed men. I see all these other groups fall apart but than I look at Backstreet and see how strong they are and it makes me so proud to be a fan! :0)

Damn...After reading this article..it makes me so angry and disapointed in the Music Industry. Our poor boys..got burned ,not once but twice, by people who were supposed to "be there" for them. People who they put their complete trust in.

I was so angry when I read the article, I don't understand why they put such a thing to let all the fans hate Backstreet Boys, especially Nick Carter. We hated him just because he's working on his own solo career???????Well then why you guy (who hated Nick) don't think about few years ago when AJ working on his own solo project, did anybody hated him?????? or did the BSB breaking up???? Well, Nick also is wrong in someway, but we can just blame him and hated him. No matter what Nick doing (even his teammate), as long as the Backstreet Boys is not breaking up, we still love them..I don't know what about you guys but I'm always loving them.

It's not going to happen if they are still making great music together and making money. They all agree to do their own things that make them happy, but they can still be the Backstreet Boys. When football season is over, do the players play football or do they go home and do other things, and then come back to the team. See my point? Media wants to bring them down, their millions of fans will prop them up, they will never hit bottom! KTBSPA.

I have to admit I was worried after I finished reading the article, but then I thought about it and realized that the article didn't change my mind about anything. It paints BSB in a bad light and that people are now saying that they hate Nick or hate BSB because of something they read is terrible!! Hate is such a terrible and wrong word to use just because we might feel hurt or angry. It's one writers viewpoint. Lets keep the peace and not fight about this. The true fans and "we know who we are" will contiune to stand by the guys cause they not just their music matters to us. They all mean a great deal to me, they may never know how much I care about them or what they mean to me but I will not stop being a fan because of what an article says. They have gone through so much and we need to stick by them. They mean too much to me for me to stop lovin them for who they are. We can't stop backing them now we have to keep standing strong. Keep the Peace and Keep Backstreet Pride Alive! I can't wait to buy the new BSB album or Nick's album they are gonna be soo Awesome! Come on Everyone and continue to support BSB.

All of the true fans know that BSB is here to stay; and just because a bunch of old guys have a different opinion, doesn't make a difference. For years critics have been saying that Backstreet and Britney Spears will be gone in one year, and yet each year it seems they're still here and doing better than ever. Once BSB breaks free from their management constraints, they'll be bigger than ever. And by that, I don't mean lunch boxes and book bags plastered w/ their faces, I mean respect and admiration from the world for all that they do, and all the talent they posess. When I first became a fan, it was because of their cute melodies, and b/c they're absolutely gorgeous. But I stick w/ them today b/c of how much they've helped me....and the being gorgeous part is just a bonus. I wish them the best of luck, and we all need to stick w/ them; and support them. And good luck to Nick on October 29, i'll be one of the first in line to support him on his solo career. :o)

Hay BSB fans all I have to say is that look at the Beatles everyone said that , that era would burn out and it hasn't so why would this one ? I mean think about it just becouse they my not be #1 on the charts does not mean that they cant be #1 in our heart !! Right ?? Even if they aren't say big as they used to be does not mean that there fans have to stop loving them !! I will always love the boys no mater what !!

If you ask me, I've seen stuff like this happen before in the business but never have I been so mad at the Firm! What jerks! And then PEOPLE magazine, when doing a review on BB Mak's new album, says & I quote: "Forget the Backstreet Boys..."! This is 9/1's issue! Errrrr!
