Happy Birthday D!! Sweet D is 29 today, wow they sure are getting older aren't they? Kev will be 30 in October, tee hee, old man. : ) I am glad I read the article because now I know what they are going through and it makes me love them even more. Nick is young, and like the album title says, Now or Never. He probably figures if he is going to try a solo career now is the time. I disagree with his choice to keep The Firm as his agent but we don't know the whole story. Unfortunately it's not just the guys anymore, now others influence their decisions for reasons of their own. Hint hint Leighanne. I have faith in the boys and I know they will ALL be back with a new album in 2003! KTBSPA : )

I have been telling people for *so* long how much the Backstreet Boys suffered and strove for their success, but no one really listened to me. I'm so glad that someone wrote an article about it that people are actually reading and responding to. If you all notice, though, not once have the Boys complained about how badly they were shortchanged---they're troopers, and they've got what *N'SYNC doesn't have: spirit. The first, the best, the only in my opinion:BSB.

yet again i write another entry.....i'm glad to see bsb fans write what they think about this situation....in a way bsb fans came closer together.....we united and this is exactly what we need to do when their cd comes out. bsb have been through so much these past few years and yet they have given us so much that now its our time to give back. like nick said,"as long as we have our fans we can conquer anything." lets make bsb stronger than ever this time around and now that they have new managment and can do what they want on their cd i think that the boys will be happier. by the way happy birthday howie d.! thats all i have to say,

i don't think any BSB fan should bother to read this article. most of it, is stuff that msot BSB fans already know. the thing that shocked me was the aprt about Nick possibly not being in the gorup and not recording demos with them(it's at the very end). how many times does he have to defend himself that he still is in the gorup and how many times has he said he's been working with the group? if anything, this article isn't fair to Nick. and why does this article only focus on the bad things that have ahppened in their careers? there have been many happy years that they've had, if there weren't they wouldn't be around today.

Well, I just like to say that I wish I would have never read it in the first place. I just feel bad for them. It's sad to know what they've gone through to get to where they're at right now. And even where they are at right now, it still seems that they're not happy. Even though they're still going through some tough times, I'll still be a fan of them. So far I've been a fan for five years and I'll continue to be a fan for as long as they're around. I just hope that they don't throw Nick out of the group. I'd hate to think that they'll do something like that. To all BSB fans: KTBSPA!!!!!!!!!! Happy B-day Howie!!!!!!!!!!

OMG! I didn't realize how bad things were for the Boys until I read the article...but no matter what, I am and always will be one of their many loyal fans who are still out there. I still love them as much as I did five years ago, and I will always support and love my boys! The positive thing about all the mess they have gone through is that now BSB will be able to do things their way, not the way their management wants. I cannot wait until their new album comes out, and no matter what happens with Nick, I will always support my Backstreet Boys. Long after "teeny-bopper" pop is over, the BSB will still be here because, unlike NSYNC, they are TRUE singers and I will always support them. BSB forever!

To be honest, I really don't know what to think. That definitely, and obviously was not a happy article to read....! I love the boys, and I always will. I truly and really believe that they are a strong group. The article though, makes it seem as if Nick is out of the band. What the hell is it supposed to mean that they're RECORDING w/o him. THAT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A GROUP! I am angry. Not at the boys, don't get me wrong, but at the industry. How could SOOO many ppl. screw them like that? I support Nick, but he needs to get back in it with the group. Now, the idea of Brian giving Nick an ultimatum about the solo career or the group doesn't seem as unbelievable as it was. I still don't know what to think. Part of me is thinking that I am acting like a teenybopper, and the other just feels so sad b/c I don't want out boys to end yet. It's not time.

I have written a few posts about 3 pages on but wanted to state that Nick isnt guna leave BSB, I mean c'mon he's sed a thousand times he isn't, what dosnt anyone believe him? BSB have never lied to their fans, ya'll know how they feel about that, if they knew Nick was guna leave or they were planning to split they would tell us right away instead of getting our hopes up for a new album or tour if it aint guna happen! The guys have been together for 10 years for crying out loud, they've been through so much and have stayed together, you would think the press would've realised by now that something like Nick wanting to make a solo album whilst he has his popularity and is still young isn't guna split em up! If they can get through Brians heart surgery and Aj's rehab there's no reason they cant get through this, these guys have been tested to the limit, like Brian said 'We're guna keep making music for as long as people are buying it and if that means for the rest of our lives then so be it' and I think it was either Nick or Bri that sed the following 'The day BSB split up is the day one of us dies'! Have faith, everythings guna be fine, both albums are guna rock and so will the new tour, Show your support for Nick BACKSTREET FOREVER, KTBSPA!

First off...HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOWIE!! I wanna share a story too. The other day BSB were on TV..it was a repeat or thier own TV special. Anyways, I was sitting there...and I was sooo excited as I always get when I see my guys. I was like mom..."I can't believe I still love them now as much as I did 7yrs ago" The point of my story is this...There are still millions of other loyal, true BSB fans out there, who feel the way I do. And no matter what they go through...we BSB fans we'll be here to support them through everything. And when everything is said and done...BSB will prevail! Cuz they are true musical artists...and they will outshine all the fake talent that pollute the music scene today. So to everyone out there...HAVE NO FEAR, BSB IS HERE!! KTBSPA!!!

I Like the articles, it shows what happened behind the stages that have caused so many problems for the boys, and knowing they have gone through all that makes me proud to be a fan. It also says they looked for new management and producers after they left the firm, and a band which is about to break up wouldn't do that. So I think it clears up the rumours.
Submitted by Ana from Romania
I wish they just made things clear already! I know they can't stop for every rumour or remark but why, after all this time, do people think they are a puppet band?a boy band? is it me or are there more rumours about them than about any other band? Why do they let those things affect their careers so much? why do they lay low and let so much dirt be thrown in their faces? why do they choose to have confused fans?
Submitted by Ana from Romania
One day they say one thing and the next, everything changes. No wonder fans may lose trust. Our guys should get their business strategy in order because it sucks! the article underlined it, it didn't put an emphasis on the problem. because yes it is a problem.
